  • S7801 - Numbers peaked at 35,500 in late 1990s, but declined since then (Fox 2002). Population estimated at 24,000 based on the average of the last 5 years, despite count of 25,756 in spring 2011 after the first good breeding season (2010) in 15 years (Fox et al. 2011).
